Peshawar: At least 25 people, including five children, were killed and 30 others injured when a suicide bomber blew himself up inside a packed mosque during Friday prayers in Mohmand Agency in restive northwest Pakistan.

"It was a suicide blast," a local official said. The attacker blew himself up inside the mosque packed with worshippers.
Jamat-ul-Ahrar, a splinter group of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan, yesterday claimed responsibility for the attack.
