Top of the Duchess's immediate list of priorities will be visits to the four institutions of which she became patron last week and to a local scout group in Wales.

Kate was moved to tears by the First World War epic War Horse and had to be handed a Kleenex at its premiere, according to the film's director Steven Spielberg. Prince William and Kate were guests at the UK premiere of the movie.
