Britain's Queen Elizabeth II sent a message of goodwill to Jade Goody shortly before the reality TV star's death.

Goody, who died last month aged 27, kept a diary of her battle with cervical cancer, wrote of her happiness at receiving letters of support. Jack's sister Laura came and read out a letter from the Queen's secretary: 'I have been instructed to convey the Queen's warmest good wishes to Jade at what must be a very difficult time for her and her family', Goody wrote.
"Laura had written to her asking for her support because she knows how much I love the Queen. 'The Queen!' I said. That was so nice."
In Jade: Forever In My Heart, Goody also wrote of the tender way her husband Jack Tweed (21) looked after her. On the March 11 entry - 11 days before she died - she wrote, "My husband is so lovely to me. He cleans my teeth, he changes my underwear, washes me gently with a flannel."
