Flynn to testify that Trump 'directed him to make contact with Russians'
The former national security adviser and a close confidant of Donald Trump, Michael Flynn, is ready to testify that he made contact with Russia under the direction of the US President.

The Telegraph said that Flynn is reportedly prepared to testify against Trump as part of an FBI investigation into Russian interference in the presidential election. Earlier, Flynn pleaded guilty for lying to the FBI about conversations with the Russian ambassador in January.
Flynn acknowledged that he was cooperating with the investigation by the special counsel, Robert Mueller, into the Russian meddling in the 2016 US presidential election campaign, reported CNN. He is prepared to say that Donald Trump "directed him to make contact with the Russians", according to a source.

Kushner 'directed Flynn to contact Russians'
Jared Kushner, Trump's son-in-law, is reportedly the senior official who directed Flynn to contact Russian officials, NBC News reported, citing sources familiar with the matter.
