A British-Muslim group releases a video showing faked murder of the world's most eligible bachelor, vowing revenge for Osama's killing

Muslim extremists have targeted Prince Harry in a new hate video put on the internet after Osama bin Laden's assassination. The carefree prince, however, played polo in the sun yesterday as a storm raged over the sick video which fakes his death. The three-minute tape made by the London-based Muslims Against Crusades vows to avenge Osama 's death by attacking Harry. The video was shown on their website.

many found to be in poor taste. file pic

But yesterday the group insisted the film was not a call for terrorists to attack the prince. The group's spokesman, firebrand Islamic cleric Anjem Choudary, said, "I can assure everyone that the Muslims Against Crusades have no intention of targeting Prince Harry or any other member of the Royal Family. We believe in political action, not military action.

"There is a real anger with the Royal Family about their participation in war against Iraq and Prince Harry because of his tour fighting against muslims in Afghanistan. "Prince William has also expressed a desire to fight in Afghanistan." The group were banned from holding a march at last month's royal wedding. Choudary said the video was being used to explain why the group wanted to have their voices heard at the occasion.

He said he has asked for the video to be taken off the website and for a disclaimer to be placed on the site.
If the video did upset Harry, he certainly didn't let it show. Reports reveal that the prince played polo at Cowarth Park in Berkshire and looked happy as he chatted with pals. Muslims Against Crusades provoked further fury last week when they held a prayer meeting in honour of Osama bin Laden outside the US embassy.u00a0

Another fake
Over a week ago, a Taiwanese company created an animation billed as Prince Harry's secret royal wedding home video, which pretends to follow his adventures with a camcorder.u00a0u00a0

What it shows
The three-minute tape made by British-based Muslims Against Crusades vows to avenge the terrorist's
death by attacking Harry. Old clips of Harry wearing a Nazi uniform whip up hatred. Against a soundtrack of marching and Arabic chanting, it shows a rising column of smoke behind clips of the prince serving in Afghanistan. It ends suddenly, suggesting Harry has been wiped out.
