Kabul: At least four people were killed and 17 others injured on Monday when a suicide bomber attacked a checkpoint near the entrance to Kabul's international airport, the media reported.

The suicide bomber detonated the explosive near the main entrance gate of Hamid Karzai International Airport, state-run Khaama Press reported.
According to eyewitnesses, the target of the attack was a convoy of armoured vehicles apparently transporting government officials.
Wahidullah Mayar, spokesman for the public health ministry, confirmed the deaths which included a woman and a child.
This was the fourth suicide attack to rock the Afghan capital in the past three days.
Taliban militants detonated a truck packed with explosives in Shah Shaheed area on Friday morning which killed at least 15 people.
Two back-to-back explosions late Friday night killed 27 police recruits along with a NATO service member and eight contracted civilians of the Resolute Support mission.
