An Iranian passenger plane crashed Wednesday near the country's northwestern city of Qazvin and all 150 people on board were feared killed, Press TV reported.

The Russian-made Tupolev plane went down near the Jannatabad village near Qazvin at 11.33 a.m. Wednesday after it took off from Tehran to fly to Yerevan in Armenia.
Qazvin Police Chief Hossein Behzadpour said all 150 passengers on board the plane are believed to have been killed in the crash.
"The 7908 Caspian flight crashed 16 minutes after its takeoff from the International Imam Khomeini Airport (IKIA)," Iran's Aviation Organisation spokesman Reza Jafarzadeh said.
The Russia-made Tupolev passenger plane was completely destroyed and its wreckage was in flames, the report said.
