Melbourne: After Steve Harvey's blunder that grabbed the headlines left people buzzing, the newly crowned Miss Universe Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach penned a heartfelt note to Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutiérrez, urging her fans not to spread hate.

Wurtzbach took to Instagram and Facebook to say that they would be bonded together forever through the controversial end to this year's pageant.
The 26-year-old actress post read as, "To Ariadna, you are an amazing woman and we are now bonded together forever by a unique experience. In the last 3 weeks we were together, I saw how strong and beautiful you are inside and out."

She continued, "You represented your country with honor and I know how proud everyone must be of you. Fate has a plan for you, and I'm excited to see what's ahead. And to all the fans who are still fighting about this Please let's all stop now."
Alonzo also urged those spreading hateful messages and are fighting online about the pageant to stop now.
