ndia is revolutionizing its artillery capabilities with two groundbreaking systems developed by DRDO — the Advanced Towed Artillery Gun System (ATAGS) and the Mounted Gun System (MGS). ATAGS, a fully indigenous 155mm artillery gun, delivers over 40 km range and superior firepower. Meanwhile, the newly unveiled MGS brings mobility and precision together with a truck-mounted platform built for extreme terrain. Both systems mark a major milestone in India’s quest for self-reliance in defence under the Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiative.

80-year-old Ranjan Bhatt from Gandhinagar and her son Harin Bhatt have been creating their own version of Barbie dolls and their creations have reached more than 20 countries by now. These handmade dolls are made by a technique of cotton sculpture comprising cloth, cotton and clay. These creations promote Indian culture and cultural dressing.
