Former England footballer Frank Lampard's wife Christine, 39, has said that she would love to have a baby with her hubby, but she currently enjoys being a stepmother to his daughters Luna, 12, and Isla, 10.

Speaking of having a baby with Frank, 39, she told mirror.co.uk, "If it happens, of course it will be wonderful. If not, we have the two girls – and one is about to embark on her teenage years, so that is a whole other chapter about to happen. That is honestly where our heads are at, and we just enjoy life as best we can in between."

Christine added that she shares a close bond with the two girls and recalled how she was touched when Frank's younger daughter Isla surprised her with a cute birthday card earlier this month. "She [Isla] went on to say 'I love you being my stepmum' and so I started to cry. I'm proud I have that kind of relationship with them," added the North Irish TV presenter. The couple met at the Pride of Britain Awards in 2009 and got married in London just before Christmas in 2015.
