Italy will meet the Netherlands in a friendly on June 4 at the Juventus Stadium in Turin, the Italian football federation, FIGC, said on Friday. This will be the 21st match between the two European teams who have not qualified for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
In the previous 20 matches, Italy have registered nine wins, eights draws and three defeats, with the last friendly taking place on March 28 in Amsterdam and the away side winning 2-1.
Prior to the match, Italy will play friendlies against Argentina and England in March. They will also face France in Nice on June 1. Italy have played in Turin on a total 37 occasions (24 wins, eights draws and five defeats) and are so far unbeaten in three matches held at the Juventus Stadium.
