The national team had to cancel a conditioning camp in India as Indian Super League (ISL) outfits refused to release national players for more than the mandated four days ahead of the Turkmenistan match.
"I would have wanted more days with the team. I would have ideally wanted a break after our first ISL match against Pune and a break after our qualifiers. Lionel Messi wouldn't miss a Barcelona game for an Argentina match.
"But this is the calendar that we have. We'll try to be the best that we can as a team with the number of days we have," the Mumbai City FC striker said.
