Sanjiv Saran Mehra, CEO & founder of Saran Sports, was recognised for his pioneering contribution in fostering Indo-British football initiatives by the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan recently.

Saran's prominent involvement in conceptualising and managing the QPR South Mumbai Junior Soccer Challenger since 2009 in partnership with football giants Queens Park Rangers FC, London impressed Khan who was in the city recently. The championship is India's largest community football event with almost one third of the participants being girls and it has been a boon for BMC-aided schools.
