Argentine footballer Mauro Icardi sacks ex-wife Wanda Nara as his agent

The striker has rejected her request over his summer move as he considers it to be legally wrong. According to Turkish news website, Hurriyet.com.tr,  the couple are heading for a divorce and Icardi, 29, has made it clear that Nara, 35, is no longer his agent or manager

Argentine football star Mauro Icardi has sacked estranged wife Wanda Nara as his agent as she is demanding a fee of GBP 8,70,000 (approx Rs 8.28cr) for arranging  his Galatasaray transfer.


The striker has rejected her request over his summer move as he considers it to be legally wrong. According to Turkish news website, Hurriyet.com.tr,  the couple are heading for a divorce and Icardi, 29, has made it clear that Nara, 35, is no longer his agent or manager.

Reportedly, Nara wants the money as soon as possible. Galatasaray are reportedly paying Icardi over GBP650,000 (approx Rs 6.19cr) for his season-long move from PSG. It’s also believed that he’ll get another GBP65,000 (approx Rs 61.9 lakh) if he nets 20 goals, plus about a GBP2.7k (Rs 25.7 lakh) bonus for every win.
