ISL: NEUFC beat Jamshedpur 2-1; Goa tie ends in draw

NorthEast United FC defeated Jamshedpur FC 2-1 to end their seven-game winless streak in the Indian Super League on Sunday.

NorthEast United FC defeated Jamshedpur FC 2-1 to end their seven-game winless streak in the Indian Super League on Sunday.


Ashutosh Mehta (36th minute) put NEUFC ahead before substitute Deshorn Brown (61st) doubled the tally for the Highlanders on his debut. Jamshedpur skipper Stephen Hartley (89th) pulled one back for 
his side. 


Meanwhile, FC Goa scored a late equaliser through Ishan Pandita to hold ATK Mohun Bagan to a 1-1 draw. Edu Garcia converted a free-kick in the 75th minute to give the Mariners the lead.
