You don't need to find where Sports XS, a store that stocks all kinds of sports paraphernalia, is tucked in a Whitefield mall.
Just look around and head straight to the first floor where a small crowd is gathered around a large flat screen TV screening what else, but of courseu00a0 the IPL matches.

As you draw near you will see a part of the crowd (read mannequins) sporting the latest IPL gear. Walk in and you will be stumped with the amount of space (5,000 square feet). 
Look to your left and you will find that the store shares space with a bookstore chain. Best of both worlds we say!
The vast shop floor is divided into several sports categories. A Fan section stores every possible memorabilia related to cricket, football, tennis and other games.
From IPL gear like team shirts to customised mugs by cricketers Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh to Liverpool and Arsenal souveneirs for football fans, you will find everything here.
Our pick at the store: the Adventure section. This section houses everything you can possibly think of related to camping, hiking and trekking.
There are backpacks (40-80 litres capacity), sleeping bags that work according to the temperature (from -20 to 10 degrees), tents that unfurl within minutes without you having to painstakingly huff and puff while stretching a tarpaulin on poles.
This 2.2 kilogram tent comes neatly packed in a light circular bag which can be worn like a rucksack.
Other camping aids and accessories such as LED torch lights, binoculars, compass, aluminium vessels to heat food, floor mats and stools are also available along with ropes, walking sticks, ice picks & shoes, and hooks for rock climbing.
The store stocks a whole lot for not only beginners who might be stepping into the store for the first time but also to seasoned professionals.
The very helpful Education section of the store offers free-for-all access to information on all products available at the store. If you have a question just do a quick search on a laptop.
Right from the product history to specifications to the kind of bicycle frame that will suit your height, you can dig into details.
There is free-access to the internet that will take you to official websites and links to the store's products.
Other interesting sections include a Bicycle section that offer a whole range, from basic to professional and all-terrain bikes. We also liked the idea of an after-purchase service offered by the store for your wheels.
A technician sits in the store and can help you out with any glitch that your bike might have.
Tennis, badminton, squash, archery, hockey, golf (accessories and customised golf clubs are available), swimming, fitness, and sports shoes and innerwear are some of the other sections available.
A mezzanine floor offers the chance to watch cricket or football on a flat screen TV or play indoor games like Table Tennis.
The good news is that kids, who probably form a large part of this store's clientele, are allowed to do test runs on cycles around the store, skate around, wade through the inflatable swimming pool, try out sports equipment and even jump up and down trampolines.u00a0
