What it's about: Shopping would unarguably be every girl's favourite thing to do. If you loved Devil wears Prada or Sex and the City you will love this one even more. Confessions of a Shopaholic will steal your heart.

The cute adorable little imp who loves to spend at the drop of a hat. Rebecca Bloomwood (Isla Fisher) is a journalist whose long desired goal is to work at a ritzy fashion glossy Alette. Needless to say this dream is all for one reason u00e2u0080u0093 so she could soak in the glitz of glittery shoes, sleek designer wear and swanky handbags. But the irony of her life, the job's taken and she lands up nabbing a position at sister publication, a journalist with a finance magazine Successful Saving.

And How? She's off to her interview for Alette and while she's walking on the street, her eyes fall upon a fashionable green scarf. Not enough money on hand, and help from a kind man gets her the scarf. And as luck would have it yet again, she's sitting right in front of Luke Brandon, the same man from the street (Hugh Dancy), the editor of the magazine Successful Saving.

She gets the job, but there's another irony here. Rebecca is drowning in debt thanks to her inexplicable stints at retail therapy, while she tells the whole world under a pseudonym The Girl with the Green Scarf on how to handle their finances and debts. The Girl with the Green Scarf, who has zero knowledge on finance, writes from her heart and touches readers far and wide. Though somewhere, things don't take a good turn of events for the deep in debt young woman, but watch it to see how she emerges out of it.

What's hot: The whole shopaholic act by Isla Fisher. She definitely fills the need for some popcorn lighthearted entertainment. Here's one actress to keep your eyes on.

What's not: Though there's nothing novel here, like the evils of the credit card, a troubled girl trying to sort out her life, and then falling in love. Guys might like to refrain.
