Nine lives

'Nav Gunjar', an avatar of Lord Krishna, involves itself with the spirits of eight beastsu00a0namely the rooster, peacock, snake, bull, lion, tiger, elephant and horse. The spectre, adapted recently by architect-artist Vishal K Dar for his new installation in the city, emphasises the fact that we are all connected, and a form a part of a

larger living organism, so harmonious living is bust a must. Depending on the speed of movement and stillness, the animal spirits move toward the human 'avatar'.
