Karnataka's youngest and richest MP says he wants to interact with youngsters in the state through social networking websites

Taking a cue from tweeting seniors -- External Affairs Minister, SM Krishna and his colleague, Shashi Tharoor - the youngest and one of the richest MLAs in state, Priya Krishna is all set to tweet and chat with the young city.u00a0

"I will soon start tweeting, blogging and chatting," said Priya Krishna. "I'm registered on social networking sites and will soon start interactions with the youth."
The first time MLA, who made news being the youngest to contest assembly polls with assets over Rs 770 crore, joins a list of famous people.
He said, "I had planned to start interactions on social sites long back and had registered myself but couldn't, as during initial days, I hardly had time to tweet and share my thoughts. As things are settled now, I will soon start tweeting and blogging."u00a0
Krishna, has 70 friends on Facebook and over 90 on Orkut.u00a0 He said, "Besides helping me shape my thoughts on developmental works with suggestions, comments and critics from youth, social networking, will help those keeping away from politics participate actively in governance, politics and development."u00a0u00a0
Political initiative
Krishna, who recently started a public interaction meeting, 'Janaspandana', to address public grievances, plans to keep in touch with young voters on his phone that supports tweeting and chatting. "This is a unique and simple way to keep in touch with our MLA," said Latha SA, a resident of Govindrajnagar.
"We can contact him straight away, and I feel this is an effective way than contacting him over phone or letters," said Latha.u00a0
